Little Actors Summer Performing Arts Course
Little Actors Theatre Company is again able to offer a summer performing arts school for children under 12. The course will take place from the 4th to the 8th August, 10am-3pm each day in Neston. A grant from Neston Town Council helps Little Actors to support children from poorer backgrounds by offering discounts and/or free places. The course will comprise of dance, singing and drama. The children will prepare a show for family and friends for the end of the week. Course leaders are professional actors Louise Grantham and Natasha Symms. The actors biographies can be seen on LATC's web site www.littleactorstheatre.com. Places are limited so apply early to avoid disappointment.
Little Actors Theatre also offers weekly classes in drama and dance/singing and Natasha Symms (along with fellow professional actors/directors Mike Lockley and Samantha Giblin), led the children to success at the Leverhulme Drama Festival with three best actor nominations and the Adjudicators Trophy for Originality and Endeavour.
Little Actors is a Registered Charity and strives to offer access for all regardless of background. LATC would welcome volunteers with a variety of skills to support their work in the community. We would also welcome sponsorship and support from local businesses. Perhaps a company or individual could offer skills such as accounting or printing, or even provided a donation of goods as well as financial. Any company or individual who supports our charitable work will be helping a child to access the arts. Research shows participation in the arts improves health and well being as well as developing self-confidence and communication skills. All good preparation for the future for the children.
